Voyage of Discovery

This is my new album. As with my first album, it's totally instrumental. I wanted to record a modern contemporary album that incorporated a variety of the musical styles. Working on the theory that "what goes in must come out", hopefully something from the variety of musical influences I've had (from Steely Dan, George Duke, Bob James, Fourplay, Santana, Sting, George Benson and countless others), has emerged ... in some form.

The initial recording of tracks was made in my home studio using emagic logic. Sound sources used were a Roland 2080 sound module and Roland XP30 and XP50 Keyboards. Software instruments included Logic EVP88, Logic EXS24 sampler, Lounge Lizard and Native Instruments B4. Other musician friends were also used on most tracks.

Final mixing, additional recording and editing, took place at Life Productions Studios at Hendon, South Australia.
